Anri's been slowly becoming more of a fixture at UA High - a sort of strange cryptid that hangs around the 1-A kids. Sometimes she helps with Foundational Heroics, using her frankly overpowered shadow Quirk to construct training dummies and structures to help with Quirk training.

Today, however, she's just serving as an intermediary for an international pro to assist in some classwork - a hero from France named Amelie Amaryllis-White.

(Amelie has found it is remarkably simple to get a hero license when you have the right connections.)

Amelie is smiling as she addresses the class.

"Bonjour! It is an honor to meet all of you, my name is Amelie Amaryllis-White. I'm here today to show you why you need to be cultivating a deeper relationship with your fellow students in the Support course. As such, we'll be having a series of sparring matches. You are allowed to use your full capabilities; meanwhile, I will be relying totally on a variety of support items. If you can force me to use my Quirk, that will count as a win for you!"

Smiling, she pulls out a golden belt shaped like a lock and a pair of keys. Wrapping the belt around her waist, she presses a button on the side of the lock.

SHUT THE DOOR!

Holding up the keys, she inserts each one into the side of the lock-belt, turning them to the side and producing an audible click as the lock closes.

DIAMOND! UNICORN!

She raises her right hand in front of her face, showing off the pink diamond embedded there, and sweeps her arm to the side with a cry of "Henshin!" as golden bubbles of energy rise up around her, popping and fizzing like a flute of champagne.

HOLDING BACK! THE RESTRAINED ELEGANCE!

When the light show is over with, Amelie is wearing a white bodysuit with pink-gold accents. Her feet, hands, and chest are covered in light, flexible-looking armor with the same pink-gold color of her belt, and covering her head is a sleek helmet with two large, compound 'eyes' set beneath a small, spiraling horn. Placing her right hand over her heart, she does a little bow before striking a pose.

"Kamen Rider Yuri, standing back!"

With a flourish, she produces a slim rapier that mimics the design of the horn on her helmet, gesturing with her free hand.

"Who would like to try first?"

A pause before she turns to Izuku.

"Do you think you'd be able to survive that level of attack eventually, Izuku-kun?"

"I honestly don't know?" said Izuku. "It might take a few years before I could...?"

"She was firing nearly three thousand metal swords at twice the speed of sound. Per second."

Anri completely ignores whatever commotion her statement made to look at Izuku.

"But...yes. If it's you, I get the feeling you'd survive. I wouldn't fall in love with a man of any less than top quality, after all."

Izuku's reply is a strangled "uh huh" as he manages to re-focus on the fight, that mental image now burned into his brain.

Anri covers her mouth with one hand and giggles at the reaction.

Mm, yes. Top quality.

"I mean, this is Midoriya. He's constantly defying our expectations," ribbed Momo.

Nod nod.

There's a long pause as Amelie activates her Driver in the fight against Ochako and Kirishima. Chained Heat, hm.

"...no wonder one of her old nicknames was The Useless Lesbian."

...well, at least she said that softly enough that only Izuku and Momo could hear her.

"... I'm beginning to sense a pattern in the belt design," uttered Momo.

"Huh? What do you mean?" asked Izuku.

"I'll tell you later Midoriya," said Momo, feeling suddenly awkward.

"Probably a good idea."

Anri has learned there is no profit in talking about that kind of stuff anywhere near Mineta.

"Who voiced it by the way?" asked Momo. "The voice sounds like Robert Downey Jr."

"The actor? Or.. wait, did they get Mr. Stark to do the voice lines?" said Izuku.

"Probably Mr. Stark. He was definitely one of the collaborators."

"From what I know of Mr. Stark, he would probably have no shame in these lines," murmured Momo.

"It's the shameless ones you have to watch out for."

Anri briefly thinks of the Jolly Pope.

"They'll do things like mass-produce cursed bibles or hold orgies in your attic or build giant lewd statues in front of your house."

"Sure, the Giant Lewd Statue thing eventually worked out alright, but seriously who builds a fifty-foot-tall statue of their god and makes it anatomically accurate so that anyone who gets close enough can look up the skirt?"

Anri. Anri your inner monologue is not inner. THEY CAN ALL HEAR YOU ANRI. THEY HEARD EVERYTHING FROM CURSED BIBLES ONWARD.

"I uh... that's strange and odd I'm sorry?" said Izuku, not sure what to say.

"At least I don't have to deal with him any more now that I...moved...here..."

Pause.

"I said all that. Out loud."

WELP.

TIME TO MELT INTO A LITTLE PUDDLE. LITERALLY.

Whelp. Izuku will just like, put a umbrella over her to keep her from burning in the sunlight helpfully.

Berry blinks, just a little.

"Huh. Compared to how she used to be, she's a lot more social nowadays."

Oh, right, Berry is here now.

"This is more social for her?" asked Momo curiously.

"She used to never leave the lighthouse unless it was to buy food."

SHRUG.

"And one time she melted into a puddle like this and stayed that way for an entire day rather than let other people see her face."

"I'm glad we can help then," said Izuku honestly. "Having friends is something I had to work with too. It used to be just me and Kacchan."

"Can it Deku!" Exclaimed Katsuki from the side.

Berry pulls a thermos out of her Gem somewhat absently and proceeds to pour its contents out into her hand as she nods. Working it around, she compresses it into wood and starts whittling. She doesn't appear to be paying any attention to what she's doing, and the way she isn't even looking at her new project suggests it's an automatic reaction.

"She's had...an eventful life, honestly. I'm really glad you're helping her."

A slight pause as she registers what her hands are doing.

"...oh dang, I pulled the wrong thermos, this was supposed to be seawater."

It is a little weird how you're whittling tomato soup, yes.

"We're glad to help. And I think I'm up. Excuse me."

With Momo heading off, Izuku smiled as she said, "Well, I hope we can help out as much as possible. We want to really help out every day after all."

Berry casually stuffs the half-finished tomato soup dog back inside her Gem and smiles at Izuku.

"You're all good kids, you know that?"

It takes some effort, given that Mineta is literally the only person in the room shorter than Berry, but she manages to reach up enough to ruffle Izuku's hair.

(And if she gives him a little bit of a divine blessing as the Goddess of Paladins as she does, well, that's nobody's business but her own.)

Izuku grinned as a form steps forward into the training area.

"I see everything's working out well today!" Exclaimed All Might, the pro hero smiling as he did as he leaned against the wall.

"All Might! I thought you were resting!" Exclaimed Izuku. "Miss Berry, this is All Might, well, the one that didn't show up at the fight."

"I watched it from afar," replied All Might with a smile. "Sorry I couldn't contribute. Class going well?"

Berry laughs.

"Amelie's certainly having fun! Here, come a little closer."

Berry casually makes a chair for All Might out of her forcefields as she waves him over.
