J goes over to Nate.
He goes over and gives him a hug.
"I'll be your buddy."
"Um... thanks?" said Nate.
Cue Jin materializing out of nowhere and whacking J on the head. "OI J! You can't just decide that out of nowhere!"
"I can have more than one buddy."
Nate looks startled, more out of the fact that there's another avatar in the room "Where'd you come from?"
"Hi! I'm Jin Masato, the guy you're trying to recover the data for. Don't worry, I'm here to set you on the road to life and make sure that Ravi doesn't start crushing on you. By the way, I borrowed his wallet on the way in."
Nate could only stare as Jin started ordering parts on the phone and J patted Nate on the head.
"It will be all right. There, there." said J in what he assumed was a comforting voice but it came off as really awkward as he was holding a can of Morph-X in one hand and was using it to rest it on Nate's head.
