Friday Weekend Mingle - DuckCon!

Everyone new and old, young and the elderly today, family and friends gets and invite today to DuckCon 2019!

Today, at the Toronto Convention Center, flanked by the World's Largest Floating Rubber Duck, the Duck is hosting a media convention. People are here for panels, games, merch, entertainment, booths, all sorts of things. It's quite the production, and you can come and mingle and have fun with your convention goers.

There are people from ALL OVER the worlds. No one is excluded. LARPs are happening. People are having fun! Leave your weapons at the door check-ins and pick up some foam prop weapons instead.

"Wooooow look at all of this!" Exclaimed Ash, looking around, excited.

"Pika!" Exclaimed Pikachu, hopping up on his shoulder as they gazed around the building, at all the sights and sounds.

"It's a convention! It's a real anime and show convention!" Exclaimed Serena.

"Cool cosplay," said a passerby, and Mallow waved. "Thanks!"

"You three look pretty cool I have to admit," said Suiren, the girl from the alternate dimension grinning. "Where's Lillie?"

"I'm here, I'm here! Sorry, I got held up on the line!" Exclaimed Lillie, running up with Shiron behind her. "Does everyone have their badges and phones?"

"Got them!" Exclaimed Ash. "Let's go everyone!"

April decided to go a a Glitter Force. And despite everything, she was still posing for pictures with little kids, who were alternating between calling her "Cure March and Glitter Breeze."

"There you go!" She exclaimed, taking another picture with a young girl. Have fun at the convention!"

"Thanks miss, you look just like Glitter Breeze!" cheered the kid.

Young All Might/Toshinori Yagi | My Hero Academia | OTA

"It's all right, form a line, form a line!" Exclaimed All Might as he was sighing pictures for the people. He laughed boisterously as he grinned, writing his signature for people.

Letting people taking photographs, he posed dynamically with a All Might cosplayer before waving at someone from the Duck.

Jack was sweeping through the building, looking at the merch when he paused at the big poster for VRAINS. "Virtual Dueling?" he remarked thoughtfully. "Seems interesting. I wonder how they incorporate it..."

Draculaura glanced around the building in awe. She was in shock at all the costumes. So many normies... being NOT NORMAL. There were people dressed as MONSTERS. WITCHES. GOBLINS, GHOSTS, VILLAINS, EVERYTHING!

This. Was the best thing ever.

A girl came up to her, barely six years old and looked at her and smiled at her. "Hi?" said Draculaura. "Aren't you afraid of me? I'm a vampire."

"Nuh uh," replied the child. "You're Draculaura! You're my favorite Monster! Can I give you a hug? Mommy always said ask first."

Draculaura nodded, and held out her arms for a hug as the girl hugged back. "Thank you..." said Draculaura happily.

Where Lillie is, Moon is never far behind, naturally. Rotomdex floats behind her, snapping pictures of whatever and whoever she points at.

"Where should we go first, anyway?"

"Well, let's go see the performers first," said Lillie as she pointed out the direction of the loud music. "I think people are putting on a show!"

[moonoveralola]

Nod nod.

"Okay! I have plenty of water bottles in my bag, so we can stay hydrated!"

Turning to the others, Lillie said, "Moon and I are going to go this way, we'll meet up at the food court, okay?"

"Okay Lillie, call us through Rotom-dex if you need anything," said Kiawe.

Lillie grinned and turned to Moon, holding out her hand. "Shall we?"

GASP! So forward!

Oh well, Moon is forward herself! She takes Lillie's hand and off they go!

So forward! Leading Moon by the hand towards the entertainment, it's a big dance off of a bunch of pikachu suits. "Oh!" Exclaimed Lillie, entranced by the sight. "They're so cute!"

[moonoveralola]

Moon's eyes are sparkling. So cuuuute!

"You have the best ideas, Lillie."

[snowlillie]

"This is luck to be honest, but I can't believe that it's amazing to see oversized dancing Pikachu suits!" Exclaimed Lillie. A young girl cleared her throat next to them. "Excuse me, can I get a picture of you two? You two look JUST LIKE Lillie and Moon! You even have... are those real Pokemon?!" "Yes, they are!" Exclaimed Lillie, Shiron dressed in a little service vest who cooed. "Oh my gosh, you're from another world!" Gushed the girl. "This is so cool! Can I get a picture please of you two?"

"Okay! Lemme just..."

There's a slight pause as she beckons Rotomdex closer and taps a few buttons, smiling broadly. As she stands next to Lillie with her very best smile, Rotomdex strikes a pose and Teatime phases through the crowd to stand behind them.

"Cheese!"

Lillie struck a pose and a smile as the girl took a picture and giggled. "Thank you so much!" "It's no problem at all," said Lillie with a smile and bow. "I'm glad we could make your day brighter!"

Moon flexes a little, smiling. Teatime slowly sinks through the floor behind her, going back to whatever he was doing.

"Yeah! Have a nice day!"

Lillie turned to Moon. "Shall we look around a little more?"
