The letters have gone out today, as there is a fireworks festival being held in some random town in Japan. A little more subdued than the 4th of July or Canada Day, this fireworks festival is a Midsummer Fireworks Festival.

In it, you can dress in traditional Japanese outfits, play their small festival games and eat food, and most importantly, see the fireworks. The fireworks explode in dramatic explosions, all of them lovingly hand crafted. Perhaps you want to fire off some of your own?

Chaewon and Iseul had brought their Vulpix Nari along, and she was sitting at their feet watching the fireworks.

Or at least she had been until the noise had spooked her too much and then she made a running dive at Chaewon, who scooped her up and tried her best to calm her.

"It's okay Nari," she cooed, giving the little Pokemon ear scritches.

So many people with Vulpix lately. Lillie and Shiron sat to the side, watching the fireworks as Shiron cooed in delight. Lillie looked over at Nari and smiled. "She's new isn't she?"

"Yeah," Chaewon said, letting Iseul pet her for a moment. "This is the first time she's seen fireworks."

"This is Shiron and my second time seeing it," said Lillie. "She really enjoys them."
