Welcome to Nekoya, the Resturant to Another World! Here, people come from all sorts of worlds, walks of life, and other places in general. Lay down your sword and shield, put up your bow, rest your rifle at the door. Here, it is meant for food, good living.

Your first meal is on the house! After that, it's a tab or you can pay up front.


The Restaurant to Another World is set in the series of the same name. It is a light hearted storytelling series, based around people from another world passing through William's Door, a constant in each and every world. It aims to serve the highest quality food, and please, order from it's western-style menu.

Okay! So, what should we check out first?

(Finding a random restaurant in the middle of nowhere? Felt like something that would happen to a certain Pokémon trainer from Pallet Town, but Mallow decided to roll with it. Plus, Lillie was with her which meant they weren't alone.)

It seems different from my family's place, don't you think?

[snowlillie]

It does, it seems like more of a Kantonese shop than anything, but it said it was a Western shop. The clientele seems different.

[Considering some looked like they were from a whole other world, with a lizard man in the side as Lilie and Mallow sat down at a table sat down by a girl with horns in her hair.]

Okay, what to eat...

[mallowhalo]

Yep! Seems like something you'd see in a movie or maybe during a game.

(Mallow handed Lillie a menu before taking the other and running through it fairly quickly; the food seemed the same as she'd find back at her family's place but more exotic, or unique. To coin a phrase.)

Let's see...we could always try their cheeseburger combo! It looks really good, and it comes with fries.

[snowlillie]

Looks like it has optional onion rings. I could try those but oh, sweet potato fries. I'll get those instead. It comes with a spicy dipping sauce.

Okay, I'll get some of those. How about you Mallow?

[mallowhalo]

Hmm...ooh, there are different types of fries! I'll go with the beer battered fries with my combo. It comes with barbeque sauce.

Lillie, what kind of drink do you want? There are even more options for those than the fries and onion rings.

[snowlillie]

That's an interesting combo, good luck, I hope they're good.

I'm thinking the root beer. I heard it's good, coming from a place called Canada.

[mallowhalo]

Thanks! I'm sure they will be; they come recommended along with the sweet potato fries you mentioned.

Root beer, huh? That could work...from Canada, huh?

[snowlillie]

Good, we'll try them out then.

Yeah, that's what it says. It must be good, it's a local brand from there.

[mallowhalo]

(Mallow hands the menus to the waitress after their orders are placed. They'll be waiting for quite some time.)

A local brand, huh? Too bad the Alola region doesn't have root beer. Sounds like something the others would get a kick out of.

[snowlillie]

It must be. I've never heard of this nation before, so it must belong to the world this place comes from.

[mallowhalo]

Interesting. I wonder what other cuisines and drinks they might have. They might even have pizza like we do!

[snowlillie]

I think they do! Though I don't know if they serve it here...

[mallowhalo]

We could ask the waitress when she comes back with our root beer!

(Mallow's smile grows once the waitress comes back a few moments later, hearing an affirming answer to her question and requesting 1/2 and 1/2-the kind she liked and the kind Lillie liked.)

[snowlillie]

All right, let's ask.

[Taking a sip of her drink, she smiled.] This is good! I like it.

[mallowhalo]

(Mallow took a few gulps of her drink before smiling herself.)I It's great! I wonder if other places besides 'Canada' have root beer.

[snowlillie]

I have to wonder that. It can't just be a regional thing, I wonder... it must be big a huge, this other world.

[mallowhalo]

You mean like with our world? Of course! They must have lots of different places and areas they can travel to like Ash traveled through lots of different regions.

[snowlillie]

Yeah, it must be. I wonder if they have Pokemon over here, but then again, I hadn't seen any others.

[mallowhalo]

If they do, they might be really rare and difficult to find! Certain types might be easier to locate, like Glameow, Meowth, Houndour or even Snubbull.

[snowlillie]

You have a point, like Pokemon that are more common in other regions but less common here.
