Welcome to Monster High’s first Valentine’s Open House!

With the news that their World had become connected to the outside world, the Ghouls had been expecting the newcomers. Changed by magic, or coming as themselves to protect the World Order, these newcomers are coming for the dance.

Draculaura welcomes the newcomers with a warm smile, as Frankiestein, Cleo de Nile, Lagoona Blue, Clawdeen Wolf and Fangelica VanBat are leading up the festivities as the staff are milling about.

At the turn of the hour, the principal Dracula taps a microphone. “Thank you for coming, Monsters, Normies, and World Hopping friends. This is a momentous occasion, one that would mark a new time for cooperation for our people. One can hope that we are going to have a better understanding of our friends from across the Worlds.”

Stepping aside, Draculaura took up the microphone. “And now, let’s get the party started! Let me introduce our guest of the evening, returning celeb Ari Hauntngton!”

Welcome to Monster High, the world is welcoming everyone tonight! Dance the day and night away!

This is an open mingle to get to know your fellow characters, cast mates and interactions in the world, and rekindle some old CR over a night. Have some fun!

Party dress? Quadruple Check. Rarity had made sure she was dressed to the nines. When the news came out that they were attending a party, she had gone into overdrive for a new outfit and she had prepared the girls for a new fashion wave. Dressed with a sleek lavender outfit, which complimented her eyes, Twilight smiled as she waved shyly at the cute monsters everywhere.

"Boy... this is totally not doing me any favors," she whispered to herself, as her usual date Timber Spruce, had yet to make it.

Beside Twilight, a monster-girl that had just entered as an exchange student glanced down at her, sporting horns curling over her long hair, and a purple tail that peeked out from behind her skirt, which waved nervously. She wore a pearly white cocktail dress that peeked just slightly to underfit her. And would do so even more with each passing week.

"I do not believe it is doing mine, either," Kotomi says, "I did not expect to change this much in time."

"Oh you came in earlier then?" asked Twilight, turning to Kotomi with a curious glance. "I just arrived today and used my magic to blend in. I'm just hoping I look the part, rather than not."

She blushed at the rhyme and held out a hand in greeting. "Twilight Sparkle, I'm from Canterlot City, another World."

Kotomi looked at Twilight, then at the hand, processing how to do the greeting. It was a more american one compared to what Kotomi was used to, but rapidly processing it with the supercomputer in her head, she bent forward, shook her hand, smiled, and then bowed, curved horns hanging a little outwardly.

"My name is Kotomi Ichinose. I am an exchange student from Hikarizaka High. My hobby is reading books. I would like to become friends with you."

She then rose, smiling, "just a few weeks ago," Kotomi confessed with a slight tap of her long lizard taill, "I still have to know a lot of the people in here."

"I used to be a exchange student too in Canterlot High for my Junior Year, and then for my Senior Year I'm going to be a fully fledged student. I can't wait." said Twilight, shaking hands with Kotomi.

"This must be exciting for you, attending a new school. I had the most amazing time fitting into mine, and it was admittedly a little scary too, considering my previous predecessor's reputation of being this super popular magical princess."

Kotomi gasped in happiness as she held Twilight's hands, congratulations, Twilight-san..." She then glanced down to her side, "it is a little scary to venture out of the library I was so used to back in my hometown. But... I also gave myself the purpose to learn more and develop important dimensional theories."

She then turned back to Twilight, lifting her own curved horns up, "magical princess...? Are you royalty...?"

"I'm still working on many of mine," replied Twilight. "We could work together on them! It would be a lot of fun with a grin.

She blushed a little, shaking her head. "I'm not, but my counterpart is. She's a pony princess from another parallel world. And my uh, best friend? Girlfriend? I dunno, Sunset is my best friend and I love her, she's always there for me. I'm involved with a great guy but he's late right now, and I hope he makes it."

Kotomi held her own hands closer to her big chest, smiling, now pondering about the possibilities to create an Unified Theory of Everything, thanks to contact with other worlds. The holy grail of advanced physics. The merging between the standard model and theoretical physics. The linework for her parents' work regarding alternate worlds.

She nodded, "I hope you get to see them both, Twilight-san. I would like to meet them as well if time allows, so all of us can read together."

"OF course! I'll make sure to get you my notes as soon as possible. It'll be a great thing when we compare notes. We could study together later too."

Oooh more studying! She loves studying and it would be an amazing chance to run experiments with new friends. "What's your take on science too?"

"I like to read about quantum physics and string theory, most of all. I was seeking for a way to further expand M-Theory and its repercussions under a mathematical model to compare with empirical numbers from another world, in order to provide a more stable bridge between string theory and the standard model. At the moment, I am quite familiar with the literature from the authors of my world regarding the newest discoveries at the time, and I hope I can learn more in here in order to further expand that knowledge."

She says all of it in a single breath, while she holds Twilight's hands in eagerness, "but... I also love reading about many other subjects. I cannot wait to learn more things about this world, just as well. Its flora, its fauna, its sociology, its geopolitics, its literature, its poetry..."

"You sound like me," said Twilight, happy to have another literature buddy. "I love reading about everything, and running experiments as well. I could introduce you to some of the books in my world on astronomy and subjects on quantum tunneling that have been introduced into my world's ideas."

"And literature and poetry, that's more we can work on together. I think we're going to be good friends!"

"Hn!" Kotomi happily grabs Twilight's hands as she walks closer in sheer joy, cheeks turning pink and long purple tail lifting and quivering cheerfully behind her, "I would love to read the books you have.

"I want to collect books while I'm on this world," hoarding, more precisely, by the draconic parts growing from her, "and I would love to share them if you would like..."

Then, at the mention of experiments, Kotomi tilted her head, "what kinds of experiments do you run, Twilight-chan?"

"Scientific ones, about technology, robotics mostly, chemistry and others." said Twilight. "And I love to research about things like that. Sunset loves to try learning about magic as well as technology, and Pinkie researches food."

"And there's research from all sorts of others, from carpentry and fashion to others."

Food! That would be a lovely thing to research, as Kotomi suddenly became hungry for the meals this world had. It would be a new opportunity to experience cuisine from other worlds as well! Fashion to see, technology to experience and bring over... even magic... All of this knowledge to gather made Kotomi's head spin, making her eager to meet more people and learn even more...

She stepped closer to her, "Twilight-chan. Whenever you our friends have an experiment to make, please tell me when you do. I want to be there to help or experience all of what you make." Kotomi then lowered her hand, the tip of her tail quivering a little, when she rose her cellphone. "I can give you my phone so we remain in contact."

"Oh sure, let's do that!" Exclaimed Twilight, pulling out her own cellphone and bringing up her number to exchange the number. "We should definitely get together. It'll be a lot of fun. And I can come over here to visit as well."

"I can't wait to get started, I can show you my robotics lab and my magic, it'll be fun!"
