Welcome to Monster High’s first Valentine’s Open House!

With the news that their World had become connected to the outside world, the Ghouls had been expecting the newcomers. Changed by magic, or coming as themselves to protect the World Order, these newcomers are coming for the dance.

Draculaura welcomes the newcomers with a warm smile, as Frankiestein, Cleo de Nile, Lagoona Blue, Clawdeen Wolf and Fangelica VanBat are leading up the festivities as the staff are milling about.

At the turn of the hour, the principal Dracula taps a microphone. “Thank you for coming, Monsters, Normies, and World Hopping friends. This is a momentous occasion, one that would mark a new time for cooperation for our people. One can hope that we are going to have a better understanding of our friends from across the Worlds.”

Stepping aside, Draculaura took up the microphone. “And now, let’s get the party started! Let me introduce our guest of the evening, returning celeb Ari Hauntngton!”

Lillie went pink in the cheeks as she accepted the crystal from Moon. A Heart Scale on Luvdisc Day? She had feelings for Moon but she was almost not ready for this sort of thing! And yet, a huge wellspring of mixed emotions flooded into Lillie as she hugged Moon. "Thank you Moon! I love it! Thank that person for me too for this lovely gift too later, okay? It's gorgeous. I'll get you a Heart Scale as well, just you wait." Lillie made up her mind. She'll be Moon's Luvdisc Heart Scale Valentine too. It was time to be Excited Lillie again! Maybe she'll contact Misty to get one imported from Cerulean City, she knew Misty had some spectacular Heart Scale stuff the last time she was here...

Hugs! Hooray! Moon's tail wraps around one leg as her expression turns shy.

"...sorry for springing it on you like that...Miss Ruby gave me lots of advice but I'm not good at waiting."

Her ears are drooping as she stares at Lillie with huge, worried eyes.

"And, and...it's not because the other Lillie is in Kanto or anything! She's my best friend, but...you're the one I want to give a Heart Scale to..."

Moon wants to be very clear on this point: You are not a Replacement Lillie.

"I understand," replied Lillie. She pulled away and cupped Moon's cheek as she said, "You started out as a friend, a very odd, very strange friend but you worked your way into my life and now I can't see myself without you."

"You're very special to me, Moon. And I think I want to spend more time with you. Thank you for being my special someone on Luvdisc Day."

And she leaned in and pressed her lips on Moon's forehead gently. Since she was taller and all. And too nervous to give her a kiss on the lips.

The fur on Moon's tail puffs out in surprise before she sort of leans forward bonelessly and rests her head on Lillie's shoulder.

...she's purring.

Lillie giggled as she hugs Moon, letting her rest against her gently. She'll just let her relax against her. "This is the best night ever. Huh Moon?"

"Uh-huh..."

Moon's tail brushes against Lillie's arm.

Lillie smiled as she wrapped Moon into a tender closer hug. "Want to dance?"

Moon...blushes.

"Uh-huh."

[snowlillie]

Okay, they can dance. A romantic song is coming up after all, thanks to the DJ and Lillie leads Moon onto the dance floor. "Here, I'll lead."
