[There a bunch of grumbling as a figure darts around, their figure hidden by a large cloak. The figure stops and looks at the screen, annoyed.]

Look, I don’t know who you are and how you can do... this. [The figure gestures with their arms, both voice and figure revealing them to be female] But, I’m in no mood to deal with this. Leave me alone right now, okay?

[No screens are shutting down.]

Did you hear me? Go away! Leave me alone!

“You don’t look like you’re a part of the game.”

The figure is surprised before pulling back the hood, revealing herself to be a little older than Moon.

“Wait, are you in the real world?!”

"Um. Yeah?"

Moon pauses.

"Would you...like to come visit? Mom can set an extra place for lunch easy!"

“I... I can’t. I’m stuck here. Haven’t you heard?”

She sighed at that.

“10,000 people trapped in the blasted game and there’s no way out except beating the game. And if we die, that’s it.”

Oh, she doesn’t realize what she’s part of now...

"What?! We gotta get you out of there!"

Moon brings up the Duck's menu, presses a few buttons, and warps over to Asuna.

"Sorry about getting in your personal space!"

Grabbing her hand, Moon activates the menu again and warps back to Alola. Walking over to the door of her room, she opens it up and starts talking.

"Mom! I just saved someone being held hostage, do we have any chocolate for her?"

“What?! Wait! What’s going...?!”

The girl is left stunned and speechless. One moment, she’s being chased by a monster, the next she has an adorable little friend pulling her into a beachside house. And telling her mom about it.

“What?”

Moon comes back in with a cat perched on her head and a bar of chocolate in her hand.

"Here! Mom got a bunch of milk chocolate at the store today!"

Moon smiles up at Asuna. Clearly there is nothing weird about anything that is happening right now.

Asuna blinked at the offering and took it.

“Thank you...”

She doesn’t understand what’s going on and it’s confusing her. A few moments later, she’ll open her arms wide, eyes tearing up.

“Is it okay if I hug you for a moment?”

Moon beams.

"Sure!"

With that cheerful declaration, she spreads her arms wide.

And Asuna wraps her arms around her savior, pulling her close as she cries a bit in joy.

“You saved me. I just met you and...! M-my name’s Asuna. Please, I’ll do anything for you! Anything for what you did!”

She was so happy right now, she didn’t care!

Wow, this is a little awkward. For now, though, Meowth will wriggle free and pad over to the door. Moon will just pat Asuna on the back and say soothing words.

"It's fine, it's fine..."

After a bit, Asuna releases Moon and lets out a soft sigh. She wiped away her tears and smiled sheepishly at her new friend.

“I’m sorry. I just... I didn’t think I’d be able to escape, especially so easily. I feel like I should tell others, but who would believe me?”

Hmm.

"Well, we've got a lot of people that are really good at being action heroes and stuff...maybe if we all work together we can save them? And you can bring people out too, since you have access and all..."

“Really? There are people like that?”

Asuna blinked in confusion and began to think. “I’m just worried how some people will think...”

"Yeah! We can go to all sorts of different worlds, so there's all sorts of different people! Professor Mako is a magical girl, Miss Kotoha fights demons, and Miss Amelie can kick right through brick walls if she wants to, and they all just live in this world!"

At the second sentence, Moon tilts her head to the side in thought.

"If they're safe, does it matter how they think?"

“You’re right. Yeah, you’re right! It doesn’t matter how, just that they’re safe!”

"Yeah! Now, let's have lunch!"

“That... that sounds like a good idea.”

The door to the room opens and Moon's mom looks inside.

"Lunch is ready, sweetie! You and your new friend wash your hands before you eat, okay? I made tamagoyaki!"

Moon's mother is a tanned woman that almost looks too young to have a twelve year old daughter. She looks over at Asuna and smiles.

"Hello. I'm Moon's mother, Selene. It's nice to meet you, dear."

Asuna beams at that and bows at her.

“I’m Asuna Yuuki. I’m grateful for your hospitality...”

Selene chuckles at that and waves her into the main room.

"No need to be so formal! This is Alola, dear, not Japan."

Moon pipes up with her own contribution at this information.

"Miss Amelie says it's called Hawaii in other worlds! Then she starts muttering about someplace called 'France'."
