Mako's wearing her labcoat and red glasses, sitting in a lab chair as she addresses the camera.

"I got full access during that big fight, and I figured I'd put out a general call?"

A sort of shrug as she taps a pencil against a stack of papers.

"I have a sideline in making magical girl transformation devices, and right now I'm trying to make a Kamen Rider belt for Amelie Amaryllis-White. The problem is that Kamen Riders have a few technical differences from magical girls, and even though I could technically lean on my Super Sentai experience it's not quite enough to bridge the gap, so I was wondering - are there any Kamen Riders or magitech specialists willing to let me bounce ideas off of them? I can pay in home-cooked meals!"

There's a cheery little ding! as Mako sends over the base schematics she's worked on, as well as scans of the Zekrom Switch.

"On the tech end, well...I'm life sciences, not an engineer. So for the parts of the Driver that are purely technological, I have no basis in understanding them outside of the fact that I'm smart. I'm also...honestly? I use a certain amount of symbolic representations to make my transformation items, but the symbology of Kamen Rider is completely different from what I'm used to, and it's making the energy matrices come out strange - depending on the context I'm using, the same set of elements will take on radically different forms. I found at least one context that turned the Grass type into a whiskey-themed Kamen Rider."

"The themes of a Kamen Rider depend on power source, scale and design mostly, but also depend on the overall design of the creation in its entirety. I can help with the engineering side of things, since I've worked with numerous Rider belts before. So this shouldn't be a problem."

"The whiskey-themed Rider thing is surprising, but we've got an Alcohol-themed unofficial Rider out there so uh... not uncommon?"

Mako nods.

"I'd rather not base the Driver on any of Amelie's more notable indulgences, and I'd like to avoid any sort of gemstone-based symbology at all, so your help with material engineering would be appreciated."

"Material engineering I can do. I can also offer advice on energy tapping into Cosmic Energy which is a fairly universal trait across the multiverse as well."

Mako types something out and sends it over to Kengo.

"Okay, here's a list of alloys I have access to, can you tell me which ones work best for a Driver?"

It's...a fairly long list, all things considered.

"Off the bat, I can suggest setting aside the titanium because of the weight, probably a little iron for the framework and maybe an alloy blend as well. I'll go through the list more extensively once I figure out... you have access to meteors?"

[etranger]

A pause.

"Kind of? It'd take a lot of travel to pull off, but something like a Star Piece or Stardust are a lot easier to find than a Comet Shard."

"Let's keep that on the table then. Meteorite is a great conductor for Rider powers, but it's really kind of impractical at best."

[etranger]

"I have a pretty easy time getting gold, is that useful? There's a lot of alloys I can make with it, too."

[hardearned_friendship]

"Gold is a relatively real good conductor for Rider powers, and is used in a lot of tech. If you wrap a gold core around your power source you can triple your output," replied Kengo. "You'll get your best results with that."

"Send your blends on over too, I'll determine your best option from there."

The list she sends over includes pretty much everything gold can be alloyed with - although nickel is crossed out - and some things that don't particularly seem like metals.

'Lightning' shows up, as well as 'seawater' and 'sunsets'.
