Event Post! - Isekai High School

Somewhere, in your things, there is a Button.

A simple, unassuming Big Red Button on a blue square switch.

Wherever you find it, it is obviously suspicious and shouldn’t be pressed by any means necessary.

However, whatever the case may be, whatever strange method that has befallen you and your friends, someone has pressed the button. And now you are here.

Isekai High School.

It is here, that your classroom is divided into four, four “Franchises” per classroom precisely. Why Four? Well, because this is a Quartet School. There are many Classrooms and many chances to mingle, but this is a regular high school with many chances to visit the other classes.

Your Faculty, is hand picked from the Adults from the Various Worlds, no matter who they are, even if they are human or not.

There are three Rules to getting along in the Isekai High School during your Stay here while God and Co try to sort this mess out.

Welcome everyone to Isekai High School!

Please look forward to Track and Field Day in the coming Week or Two.

Just remember that the Crystal Shards Event is also running, and you should remember to deal with those while you can. They’ll be showing up in this world as well.

"Okay self, think. You're Jiro Hamada, Thirty Year old Salaryman who plays FF14 who was hurled into Stormblood on the release of the launch... getting ready for the hype of Shadowbringers..."

And then the camera pans out revealing his classmates.

"So why am I a student in High School again?!"

Ryou Fujibayashi, who was new to the concept of alternate worlds, glanced at Jiro Hamada as if he was a delusional chuunibyou with visible concern. She shuffled her seat a little further from Jiro, and a little closer to a semblance of normalcy. That being Kotomi Ichinose, who had nearly overgrown her chair as she transformed even further.

"Um, I... we pushed a button that appeared for all of us while we were in Hikarizaka High School and, um..." Ryou poked her fingers in embarrassment as she smiled nervously, "we were just told we have been temporarily transferred to Isekai High School. Which includes our classmate who had been in an exchange program, Kotomi-chan."

The gigantic Kotomi smiled and waved a scaly hand from the seat beside Ryou. Her tail waved, and her chair creaked.

"Yeah, we pushed a button too," replied Jiro with a sigh, rubbing his face with a deep, exasperated sigh. "I guess there's no way around it. I've been transported to another world. Again. Double-isekaied."

He looked at Kotomi and smiled, and waved. "She I know, I've seen her on the comms. Hey."

"So uh, I guess we're in class together, something I haven't done for a while now," said Jesse. "Call me Jesse, I haven't been called Jiro in ages for a while, not since I came to Eorzea." He gestured to his Free Company who were sitting in their chairs, all talking with each other and people. "That's Miriam," the white mage, "Shiori and Tsukasa the twins," a brother and sister Conjurer and Warrior, "Itsuki," a bard, "Rich," a mage, "Sarah," a arcanist with a small furry carbuncle, "and Hanzo, our moogle samurai." Said Moogle Samurai was a big buff looking guy wearing a moogle head who was already sleeping in the back, head pooled on the desk.

"I'm Kyou Fujibayashi!" The girl with long light purple hair pointed a thumb at herself, then patter her short-haired twin's shoulder, "Ryou is my sister. The tiny brunette with antennas is Nagisa Furukawa, and the guy over there is her boyfriend, Tomoya Okazaki."

"Yo."

"And the silver-haired girl over there is our class rep and club president, Tomoyo Sakagami."

She waved back. Kyou then continued.

"Yukine is taking the library right now. As for you..." She took a long look up and down Jiro, "you all come from a fantasy world or what? Why would you be tossed into a classroom with all of us?"

"Beat's the heck out of me," replied Jiro with a shrug. "We're from a place called Eorzea, from the Final Fantasy 14 Game World. We were all stuck there as player characters for a expansion. I guess whoever decided to bring us here, decided not to give us back our old bodies."

"Not that I don't mind really. I've gotten used to being an Au Ra lately," he remarked with a half-grin.

Rita Mordio had gotten to know the Duck for some time now...

But then she'd disappeared, soon after Ribbon's post. And so far, only Estelle knew about how she was now under the sway of a Dark Matter.

Though, to be fair, with her new outfit and darker eyes, it would probably be rather obvious to anyone that something was wrong, as she moved around the school, seemingly looking for something...

"Just gotta get the crystal, get out of here and on to the next world before whatever weird crap's here shows up. Easy enough."

"I don't think there might be a crystal in here, miss," Lynette Bishop, recently (and forcibly) made head of the archery club, walked beside the newcomer as if she was the madder one around here. She had of course met with some rather odd classmates who kept sweating whenever she and her squadron approached them.

"We were all asked to assist class, so maybe it would be something better left off after school."

"Yeah, whatever," Rita responded, turning annoyed at the attempt to dissuade her from her important work.

The black-clad girl looked at Lynette. "And who the hell are you anyway?"

"Um... My name is Lynette Bishop. I'm a Strike Witch," Lynette responded, "I am the pilot of a striker unit where I am from, and I am the club president of the archery club. We keep hearing there's a button people are given that they press."

Lucchini turned out to be That Girl that pushed the button, against Barkhorn's specific orders.

"But it would be better if you followed classes so you are not forced to stand outside with water buckets."

"Meh, whatever." Rita normally wouldn't be this uncaring about people or order... Unfortunately, with Dark Matter influencing her behavior, she could care less. Though this girl's description would normally be at least kind of interesting, she had a more important thing to do.

"I'm Rita Mordio, and I've got work to do, so I'm going to go do that. This school environment is just a step in the way to doing my job."

Perhaps Lynnete had read Estelle's post the other day about a woman with that name being missing?

It was weird, being in "School" and yet, she was looking around for someone who could recognize her. And yet, Estelle noticed something familiar.

Turning the corner, she realized the familiar look of Rita in the hallway. Ducking behind a locker, she stilled her heart. "Rita..." she whispered.

To confront her? She was nervous. The girl was a lot more powerful now and yet... no, she had to do this.

Stepping out, she called out, "Rita!"

Rita, notably, was poking from locker to locker suspiciously, as if looking for something...

So when Estelle stepped out and announced herself, she paused for a second or two, before turning to her.

"Oh, hello there. Guess you found me, you're pretty good. Or you just hit the stupid button."

"Rita you don't mean that do you?" she asked, feeling a little hurt.

"I found a shard," she said, holding up the shard. "Not here, but I know what you mean. This power is tempting. But I won't give in."

"I mean, the button really is pretty stupid," Rita chose to clarify.

"But more than that... You're here. Where neither of us can properly fight. And you're probably going to try and win me over with words, right?"

"Uh... well yeah, actually Karol pressed it. He's somewhere in the school right now but that's not important right now." admitted Estelle, feeling sheepish.

"Yeah, that was the plan? Somewhat?"

"Of course it'd be the kid doing that. Now, as for the idea of talking me down... Really, do you think that'd work given the whole situation?"

Rita sighed. "If I could show you the power I've gotten from this, I would, but suffice it to say, I've no intent of giving it up that easily."
