Oh, Right, They Can Do That

The video feed show Amelie and Apple waltzing together, one-two-three, one-two-three. Their gems start glowing as they move, and the glow spreads through their entire bodies until the pair of them are just outlines of white light that collapse into each other.

When the light dies down, there’s an entirely different woman there. Her features suggest both Apple and Amelie, her extremely fluffy hair is pulled back into Amelie’s signature twintails, and most noticeable of all - she has four arms and is at least six and a half feet tall. Pulling a chair sized for her out of what is clearly one of Amelie’s hoops, she sits down and smiles directly into the camera.

“Hello! I’m a fusion, my name is Ruby Zoisite. I’m made out of love, ask me anything.”

"Mmmm, expensive tastes, but it can be simple tastes too. Good choices. I think I like you."

He grinned a little. "All right. Scones or cinnamon buns?"

"Cinnamon buns."

Spices are always better than no spices.

"Good pick. Nothing like a warm cinnamon bun on a cool day."

Thinking about these made him hungry to be honest for the old master's cooking.

"Hmm... what else. Why don't you ask me a question?"

"What's your favorite drink?"

[last_decade]

"Coffee, with two sugars and a cream fresh," replied Tsukasa. "Yours?"

[onaroll]

"Espresso. Black."

Yeah, that's pure Amelie right there.

[last_decade]

"A woman of taste and refinement," replied Tsukasa. "I like that."

"Favorite animal. That isn't a Pokemon."

[onaroll]

Apple side of the brain, help her! Amelie-brain still thinks dogs are weird!

"Foxes!"

"Elegant. Regular or snow foxes?"

This should be easy for Apple-brain. Gala was a snow fox.

Sorry, Amelie-brain is taking over.

"I thought you said no Pokemon?"

[last_decade]

"There's regular brown-red foxes and white snow foxes in normal animals," replied Tsukasa.

[onaroll]

"Ah! White, then."

[last_decade]

"Exotic. That's a good choice."

Tsukasa reaches for a coffee on the off-screen and sips it. "Hmm... what else to ask... Got a question for me?"

[onaroll]

Ruby creates a hoop, reaches through it, and takes Tsukasa's coffee before creating a duplicate and placing it in front of him using a different hoop. She takes a sip and wrinkles her nose.

"Are you seriously using Domino sugar packets in this?"

[last_decade]

"It's all I've got. These Timejackers don't actually provide actually good food while I mess with them behind the scenes. And that's very precise, I can't even do that with my dimensional walls."

He creates a dimensional wall next to Ruby and he sticks his hand through it, waving somewhere around her head before withdrawing it. It's very imprecise.

Before his hand can fully retreat, Ruby drops a small box into it.

"Here, it's a box of demerara sugar sticks."

[last_decade]

Tsukasa's expression lights up. "Thank you, this is appreciated. I haven't had demerara in ages. Not since I left the Hikari Studio. I should probably check in with Summer Oranges before she strangles me, or yet, makes me laugh until I'm sick."
