Restaurant to Another World - Friday Edition

Due to the ongoing chaos in the Duck, the Restaurant to Another World is opening the doors a little early this week. For Friday, Saturday and Sunday In Character, the doors will open for St. Patricks Day. For those of age, green beer will be available.

Come on in and have a pint. And the special today is Irish Stew, Lamb made Shepherd's Pie and Colcannon!

Today's company is Spider-man Noir, the man basically stealing into the building, ordering something colorful which puzzles him and looks around the crowded room. When he notices the woman waving at him, he walks over and tips his hat.

"Ma'am." Before sitting down and lifting his mask to reveal a handsome, if black and white face. "My name's Peter Parker. A pleasure to meet your acquaintance ma'am."

He sees that ring on her finger, and will address her with the respect she deserves.

[onaroll]

Amelie nods graciously, smiling.

"It's nice to meet you, Monsieur Parker. I'm Amelie Amaryllis-White."

"Likewise. I come from New York in the year 1933. I'm a Private Investigator by trade."

Holding up a forkful of the colorful Shepherd's Pie, he said, "I've never actually seen food this colorful before. They call this Shepherd's Pie, correct? In my world, everything's shrouded in shadows and black and white."

[onaroll]

"Ah! I am also a private investigator! I co-founded the Looker Detective Agency in Lumiose with my partner, a former member of the International Police. The day-to-day is run by a dear friend of mine, but I still consult with them on occasion."

Amelie considers the forkful being presented.

"Ah, indeed. Il est magnifiquement préparé, oui?"

"This is... Green, isn't it?" he said, indicating the peas within the forkful. "And brown, and warm tans and orange... pardon my confusion, I don't see many colors from day to day. I've gotten used to some but not all of it."

Taking a bite, he smiled. "Magnifique." He echoed after a chew and swallow.

[onaroll]

"He does have a way with potatoes, I must admit."

Amelie takes a sip of green beer.

"So...spider powers?"

"That's right. I was bitten by a radioactive spider, and I have spider powers. I can lift cars, stick to walls, and I have webshooters." said Peter. "Build most of the gear myself."

He held up a hand. "Can I get a egg cream please?"

[onaroll]

"And now I'm a Full Moon."

Amelie twitches a little at the pun being uttered in the distance - et tu, Moon?

"I have, ah...diamond powers? It gets a little confusing, sometimes."

Amelie shows off the pink diamond embedded in the back of her right hand.

He notices the twitch and hears the pun. Not a fan of puns? He'll note that for later. She would HATE Peter B then.

"That's quite the rock ma'am. I take it that it's unique to your situation?" asked Peter curiously.

"I can also sense danger and other Spider-people. But the last I found out recently."

[onaroll]

"Ah, mostly? There are...perhaps four or five others on the Duck with similar stones, but I am the only diamond."

Amelie nods at Peter's words.

"Ah, yes, I'd heard of that incident. I'm glad you all made it back to your worlds safely."

"It sounds very rare then," said Peter thoughtfully.

"I'm glad. Miles really pulled through for all of us."
