Revenge of the Son of the Drama Drama Duck

Hoshida-san is working hard on debugging the Duck, cleaning up the mess left from the problems.

But now there's the problem of cleaning up all of these long abandoned parts of the internet.

With a sigh, he leans back, and presses a button.

"All right, routing everything through the repaired Spider-verse, and... here we go."



Leaning back, Hoshida-san smiled as he adjusted the announcement window. "Good evening everyone in the Duck. As you can see, the Debug Progress has gone smoothly thanks to everyone's help. I'll spare you the details, but we've gotten the Debugging down about 32% right now."

"Please be squashing more bugs when you can, as we clean up the old spare code. Some of the old code from disused worlds have gotten onto the Duck in our absence, we call this CRAU in the circles. So, as such, we've compiled a system called the Debug Nexus."

"This system will allow you to step into emulations of your old familiar settings. While the old risks won't be there anymore, reminder that the Duck AI is very fluid, and will respond exactly as you imagine they will. As such, we'll turn you over to the conductor of the Debug Nexus."

The image changes to a friendly looking man in a literal conductors uniform with a puppet on his hand.

"Hello everyone! I'm your Conductor! As such, I'll be your guide into the Debug Nexus! We'll be opening this fully on Monday once we work the kinks out. Right, Sprocket?"

"That's right!" Exclaimed the puppet in a pitched voice. "Right now, we've got simulations for Mayfield, Galxcin, My Little Jamjar, Cosmographia, World of Pokemon and Adventures in Equestria. Remember to obey the laws of the world while you're in each world and limit your stay for a day or so while we work out the bugs."

"And remember, everything is as powerful as your IMAGINATION!" Howled the Conductor, drawling a look from Sprocket.

"That being said, I hope you have a good time when we open the Debug Nexus." And the pair cut back to Hoshida.

"For now, that's our patch notes, and I hope you keep debugging our system. Please look forward to the rest of our patch." Hoshida bowed.

The sound of the Worlds Breaking was a good indicator that everything was going crazy.



Like glass, the effect was rippled across the Duck at the speed of sound as an alert popped up as God and Hayate both appeared.

"Alert, alert, this is a priority one message from the Admins," said God, worried. "Due to the unforeseen situation at hand, we've had to cancel our event for the time being."

"Which means no Total Drama Island for now," said Hayate. "Sorry fellas." A couple of dejected men were in the background. "You'll still get paid!" They cheer.

"We'll hand this off to our head programmer, Hoshida-san."

It cuts to a man behind a desk who is working on a Duck Admin page. "Ah yes, I am Hoshida-san," said the man. "I am the Duck Programmer for this iteration of Drama Drama Duck. Since the beginning, Drama Drama Duck has been a self-growing, autonomous design that grew with the internet. But recently, the internet has produced many media that crossed over with others such as Star Trek Animated with Transformers, or Final Fantasy XIV with XV, or even My Little Pony with Warhammer 40k. This current influx of media has damaged the Duck beyond repair, and we are in a state of emergency."

He cut to a scene which showed a group of small multi-limbed rabbit like creatures and multi-limbed squat robots milling around, seemingly fighting each other and going "POOF" in cartoony clouds.

"These are Bugs in the system. They will continue to spawn until we can update the Duck to 3.0 which will take approximately 2 months to accomplish. I ask that you take time to squash these bugs when you can."

Hoshida bowed politely. "If you lack weaponry, we will provide you with debugging tools to take them out of order."

"Another point, is that the stress of the damage has also caused the 4 Alternate System to go out of control. You may find yourself being besieged by many many alternate versions of yourself until this is fixed, and there is no way to reset it. So please, treat your alternate friends with respect and kindness."

"Again, this isn't life threatening, but it is a hassle. Please refrain from causing a world-ending catastrophe that isn't planned until the time comes." He eyes the Kingdom Hearts cast. "That goes double for you, Sora."

Calling him out early huh.

Switching to Hayate, she said, "We'll be mailing everyone a Debugging Hammer. So please, make use of it. Sorry, but this is real weird. Already I've had to make room for another me who runs a card shop back home."
