Moon holds a newspaper up to the screen, smiling happily.

"Look! It must have been a slow news day, because I made the front page!"

The newspaper - today's issue of The Sinnoh Times - does indeed have a picture of Moon on the front page. She appears to be punching a man wearing a cloak directly in the crotch.

The headline is 'Top Trainer Attacked By Small Child', and the byline credits the article to Andrew Salt.

Ah, the smell of sea air! The cheerful cries of the News Coos! The way your Jolly Roger waves in the breeze! Yup, yup. The Duck's dumped you off in the Grand Line again. Time for even more pirate adventures.

The ship First Mate Berry and Helmsgirl Xion stole from the Yes Pirates - rechristened by Captain Amelie into Belle Pomme - is docked just off shore from a Summer Island. When the wind shifts to blow from the island instead of the sea, there's an intense smell of ripe strawberries carried with the breeze.

This is where your Grand Line Adventure begins! Your dreams await on Strawberry Island!

Surprise! Pink Sapphire Is...Born?

Amelie smiles into the video feed, looking happy. She's not wearing her sunglasses today, so she must not have any plans to go out.

"Bonjour! This is Amelie, and most of you know Moon - " Moon pops into the corner of the screen at this, looking excited " - and we're doing an experiment!"

Moon nods at this, and Amelie moves out of the way so she can start chattering.

"So a while back I talked to Miss Ruby and asked if I could learn how to do Fusion, and she said that once she was two people again Miss Amelie would teach me, so that's what's gonna happen now! So me and Miss Amelie are gonna dance and turn into one person! It's gonna be really cool."

With that, she moves over to Amelie, does a little half-curtsy, and the two of them begin to dance. It's a very simple little thing, the kind of dance that usually pops up when an adult and a child dance together, and somehow it seems to be working - it's not just that Amelie's Gem is starting to glow, but Moon is glowing as well. Their resulting fusion has four arms and four eyes. Her long, wavy hair has horizontal stripes of blonde and black, and there's a panicked expression on her face, all four of her pupils darting from side to side.

"Oh no...oh no, something's gone wrong..."

She has just enough time to bring one hand up to her stomach and utter a single sentence before she splits apart, the shining silhouettes of Amelie and Moon reforming around their Gems.

...wait, what?

From her position on the floor, Moon yanks up her shirt partway, revealing a faceted Moonstone has replaced her navel. She stares, confused, for several long moments.

"...what just happened?"

The scene is familiar for anyone familiar with Sunset, Twilight or any of the Equestria Girls' worlds. Rainbow's house.

But there's something different about it. Maybe it's just Tank chilling out on the tabletop. Maybe it's the trappings around there like the strange woodcarvings on the wall, the giant wooden spoon and fork hanging on the wall among the various pictures and awards Rainbow Dash has won, or the way Rainbow Dash kicks off her shoes at the front door.

"Mom! Mom! Ako ay pauwi ano para sa hapunan!"

"Pansit! At ang cleaned, at magdala ka ng iyong kaibigan?" replied Windy Whistles from the kitchen where you could swear Asian food was being cooked.

"Yes, yes. C'mon Twilight, kick off your shoes coming in."

In peeked a non-purple Twilight with glasses as she looked into Rainbow's house. "I knew you were Filipino but I didn't realize your house was THIS Filipino."

"Yeah, well, there's a lot I don't talk about. Mom! I brought Twilight home with me!"

"AH, PASOK! Get cleaned up and come down for dinner, there's food on the table!" Called out Windy.

"IN a minute! C'mon Twilight, gotta show you that Duck thing that's been following me around all day."

Once inside her room, Rainbow Dash poked the screen. "Weird huh? It's just been following me all day."

"And it's just been there? All day? Watching?"

"Yeah, weird huh?" said Rainbow Dash. "What do you think?"

"I dunno, it's strange. I'll have to run tests. Bring my food up here, will you?" said Twilight.

"You got it. I'll be back in a second!" Exclaimed Rainbow, returning in two seconds with heaping plates of noodles. "Okay Duck thing, whatdya want?"

The screen fills up with Moon's face as she peers into the camera.

"Oh, neat, it still works out here! Teatime, Teatime, look!"

As she holds...whatever it is she's recording on up, a Decidueye peers over her shoulder before she turns the viewpoint outwards.

That is a very high cliff she's standing on.

Also: Alola didn't have a red sun.

"Alola, everyone! I wanted to see if this would work even really far away, and it did! I dunno what this place is called, but it's about...one thousand six hundred seventeen light years from Earth?"

Moon holds up an Ultra Ball.

"Also, there are Fearow here! I named him Dasco."

What's up fools? It's yo girl Hayate!

It seems that old browsers have flickered to life, with a spinning duck symbol on it. Whatever could this mean?

What is this strange object that appeared next to you? Well, all of your answers can be found if you login as Hayate is adjusting her screen.

"Is this on? Yes it is! At last, I got it to work! Welcome all users to Drama Drama Duck. Or as I like to call it: Revenge of the Son of the Drama Drama Duck!"

"What is this thing you ask about? Well it's quite simple; you are now connected to the internet. I managed to get admin privilages somehow so don't ask me how it works. Quite simple, you're connected to the internet now, and nothing short of ridiculousness is upon you."

"So go ahead, post around, browse, worldhop to other worlds, that's what the device next to you is for. Please have yourself a nice stay in the comfort of your own home or go out exploring! Ta!"

With that, the browser returns from its video chat, and there is a spinning duck. It's not going to go away until you touch it.
