Restaurant to Another World - Friday Edition

Due to the ongoing chaos in the Duck, the Restaurant to Another World is opening the doors a little early this week. For Friday, Saturday and Sunday In Character, the doors will open for St. Patricks Day. For those of age, green beer will be available.
Come on in and have a pint. And the special today is Irish Stew, Lamb made Shepherd's Pie and Colcannon!

He took a sip of his own drink before jabbing his pie with a fork. "Considering everything, you look like you're in for one of those adventuring types like you said. I'm sure you've got things to do, places to be...?"
no subject
But, she did smirk. He was a merchant, charitable as the Church asked to be towards the poor, and most curiously, a man-at-arms. He piqued her attention. She leaned forward.
"Of course I am an adventurer! I am a knight. I have no interest in getting married and letting another man gain the glory. I will bring riches and honor to myself before I even think of settling down! At the moment I am fascinated to meet people of other worlds."
Asuka then stood up, smiling, "so tell me your adventures, Iron Man."

Taking a bite, he leaned back in his chair. "I once fought a guy, who turned into a giant hulking rage monster. He and I beat up each other in the streets of Johannesburg. He was big, green, muscular... he could smash buildings with a single clap of his pinky fingers. Me? I brought out the biggest suit I could and smashed his face in until he went to sleep. It took out about twenty square blocks of street corners before I could get Bruce to calm down."
no subject
"Is Bruce an ogre? Or a berzerker?" Asuka's eyes widened for a moment as she listened, fascinated and... jealous. Maybe this merchant was taking the piss. Without anybody else to corroborate his story, it could amount to this: Story, to explain the cursed stone on his chest.
Asuka shut her eyes, almost disappointed, then rose her mug of beer to drink further, before setting the mug down.
"You do not have the build of a proper man-at-arms. Your stone could as well be an ornament," she then waved her hand, "and you are telling me of a place called 'Johannesburg, which I cannot even know where is it. You are not making a good case for it, merchant."
no subject
He drank and added, "You're in a Restaurant From Another World and you're saying you don't know where Johannesburg which is in Europe by the way, is? No one's told you about the Duck or anything really?"
no subject
And yet, none of it becomes enough to convince her at the moment. She leans back, one arm on the edge of her table and her other over the table.
"And the fact there are realms in places even beyond my kingdom doesn't mean any well-dressed merchant that talks to me is a king, is he?" Asuka tilts her head, "warriors have muscle, armor, and coats of arms to prove it. The stone on your chest might as well be a spell from someone saving you or something you bought."
She then nodded up to get a slice of shepherd's pie. She sank her fork into it, biting almost mockingly, before smiling.
"If you want to prove to me you are a warrior, why don't you show me your suit, Iron Man?"
no subject
Tony held up his left hand and activated the nanotech. In an instant, the armor crawled over his body, forming the suit from his fingertips to his feet before he took a bite of his food. "Happy now?" he said, a moment before the helmet clamped down around his face.
"In here, I can fight, fly, and shoot." said Tony. "But don't even think of trying out the durability, the master of the house won't like it."
no subject
She gawks in shock at the sudden display of armor, almost forgetting for a moment she had a pint of beer with her. Then, as Tony's helmet slams around his head, Asuka slowly leaned forward, glancing up and down to study it.
"So you were not telling tall tales, Mr. Stark. You cannot blame me for being skeptic in a world where anybody can make any stories they want and have anyone believe them," she studied him once again, in part to decide if she should be impressed... or jealous.
Asuka smiled, but frowned at the same time, not knowing what to feel regarding him, and how less her own world, armor, and weapons were compared to his.
