Kamala Meets Kamala

But it did.
Kamala Khan had just gotten her powers and she had accidentally hit her button on the community and jumped to another Circle Q when she ran into, well, herself.
So the pair were staring at one another, and Kamala-MFA stared at Kamala-616 and exclaimed, "Captain Marvel! You came to see me again?"
"I uh..." said Kamala-616 awkwardly. "This isn't..."
"OH MY GOSH YOU'VE BEEN SHOT!"
"Yeah um... help?"
Cue panic from both of them as they tried to suss out the situation as Bruno came running over with a first aid kit, and the whole song and dance happened and Kamala met Kamala.
Minutes later, the pair stared at one another as Kamala-MFA stared at Kamala-616 who was still Carol who was sucking down a Circle-Q slurpee to try and regenerate lost electrolytes and said, "You're... really me. What's going on?"
"I'm having a bad day, that's what," said 616. "I made a jump between dimensions accidentally and I wound up here."
"So wait, you're a superhero in that world?" said Bruno. "Neat."
"And you're not?" said 616 and MFA grinned awkwardly. "Oh, I see. You haven't told him..."
"Told me what?" asked Bruno.
"I'm really a superhero? Surprise?" said MFA.
"... Kamala! How can you keep this from me? Your childhood friend? I'm hurt," said Bruno in a mock hurt tone.
"Sorry! I'll make it up to you!" Turning to 616 she asked, "Are you okay to turn back to yourself?"
"I've healed up now, so yeah, I think so." said 616, reverting to herself. "Whoa..."
"Easy now, you lost a lot of blood. Here, I know it's not kosher but have a Circle Q dog. You'll need the protein."
"Well, I guess there's a time and place for everything. Sweet sweet infidel meat here I come," sighed 616 as she ate the dog. "Oh that's good stuff."
"You know the dogs on 5th aren't kosher right and we still eat them?" said MFA.
"Quiet, still eating."

Pondering - Lillie Thoughts
snowlillieYou know... to participate in the Pokemon League, I'm going to have to undertake the Grand Trial.
I'm a decent battler now that I've gotten practice, but I need more experience, and I'm sure they won't let me use my magical girl abilities in the fighting. So it's just Shiron and I.
So I think I'm going to ask mother if I can take the trials and see where that will lead.
Also that Guzma man came to the school today. Moon do you know anything about him? You mentioned him before if I'm not mistaken, and I did notice you once wore a few Team Skull pieces of clothing before.

"Ah let him have his fun Commander, he's young," said Jin, materializing in and startling everyone involved except for the Commander who barely flinched.
"And who are you? Who let another Avatar be made?" asked the Commander.
"I can explain," said Nate. "This is Jin Masato, our uh... counterpart, from another world. I managed to unlock him from the Jenga Block that the Beast Bot" "Buddyroid" "Buddyroid that showed up a month ago carried that penetrated Grid Battleforce HQ."
"Nice to meet you Commander," said Jin, offering his hand in greeting and she tentatively shook it. "J and I are a matched pair and we won't get in your way. We're here to protect Nate from himself."
"That's good, because he's on the Buddy system from now on." said the Commander, much to Nate's growing expression of "WTF."
"What?! For how long?" demanded Nate.

Friday Weekend Mingle - DuckCon!

Everyone new and old, young and the elderly today, family and friends gets and invite today to DuckCon 2019!
Today, at the Toronto Convention Center, flanked by the World's Largest Floating Rubber Duck, the Duck is hosting a media convention. People are here for panels, games, merch, entertainment, booths, all sorts of things. It's quite the production, and you can come and mingle and have fun with your convention goers.
There are people from ALL OVER the worlds. No one is excluded. LARPs are happening. People are having fun! Leave your weapons at the door check-ins and pick up some foam prop weapons instead.

Virus! - First Day of Spring Rain

With the sudden downpour, the heavens opened up.
Even though it's March through most of the Duck, the day of Spring March 20th, the heavens opened up! All across the Duck, it began to rain. The intensity of the Rain however, depended on where you were, and won't let up until late into the afternoon.
But go ahead, visit with friends, have fun in the rain. Maybe huddle inside if it's a Monsoon if you're in a tropical area.

1. DRIZZLE ☂ It’s not too heavy or too light of a downpour, just enough to wash away stuff in the air, water the ground, and clean up the streets.
2. MONSOON ☂ It’s horrible and awful! Rain is coming down in buckets, no one can get anywhere, the wind is whipping everything about, and now the cable is out.
3. SHOWER ☂ Reminds you of early spring, doesn’t it? A nice shower to make everything all green and smell fresh again. Lovely.
4. FLOOD ☂ While rain is good, it can sometimes be bad. Grab a boat!

hishandsToday I spent the day at Disneyland with my roommate! We had a lot of fun riding the rides and introducing him to the roller coaster. Sometimes I wonder if he's going to get a little too uptight about the money we spent but it's a special day after all.
Dad says I've been given access to a new internet connection since the old one was being too unreliable. I think he's just being fussy. I told him I can provide for myself I'm on vacation right now.

01 [Video] - what is this madness

A-Ah, I'm so sorry! I meant to introduce myself first... I probably could have done that when I first got access to this, but I wanted to give the world traveling a try...
Um! Hi, I'm Ochako Uraraka... kinda new here. That's obvious, right? Where I come from, we all have these things called 'quirks' that make us unique. Mine is easier to demonstrate than explain, so... maybe some other time?
Anyway!!
I went to the world called 'Ragol' and apparently they're looking for adventurers or heroes to help them solve the mystery of what happened to a ship that carried a bunch of their people. It just vanished when they tried to colonize that world! And now there's a bunch of weird animal hybrid things that want to kill people!!
[She stops short to catch her breath - she kind of rambled all of that out. Hope you caught everything!]
So, uh, I was hoping there might be some people who'd want to go with me to figure stuff out. They don't have anyone lined up to do it and I want to help find these people!

The newspaper - today's issue of The Sinnoh Times - does indeed have a picture of Moon on the front page. She appears to be punching a man wearing a cloak directly in the crotch.
The headline is 'Top Trainer Attacked By Small Child', and the byline credits the article to Andrew Salt.
"Look! It must have been a slow news day, because I made the front page!"

"Hi! I'm Jin Masato, the guy you're trying to recover the data for. Don't worry, I'm here to set you on the road to life and make sure that Ravi doesn't start crushing on you. By the way, I borrowed his wallet on the way in."
Nate could only stare as Jin started ordering parts on the phone and J patted Nate on the head.
"It will be all right. There, there." said J in what he assumed was a comforting voice but it came off as really awkward as he was holding a can of Morph-X in one hand and was using it to rest it on Nate's head.

The next is a profile from Leafa of the guild Log Horizon, who has posted a alert for a event called The Return of the Goblin King from her world.
The Goblin King is a Full Raid level monster and it is the main focus on the Return of the Goblin King event. This is a event that happens every two months, where there would be a Goblin King coronation ceremony in the Seven Falls Fortress, crowning the strongest Goblin tribe leader from the surrounding six tribes.
The players would have a week to slay the Goblin King before he was crowned and succeeding in the quest rewarded the players with rare items. A important trick in this raid was attacking the surrounding goblin tribes and weaken their forces. This would make the level and power of the goblins in Seven Falls, and the own Goblin King, weaker.
However if the Goblin King survives the one week event period, he will unite the surrounding tribes and his army will increase by ten times.

[The sound of something slurping through a straw is evident when the duck shows off it's live feed, though when the straw turns out to be a retracting tongue it might be somewhat alarming. Lounging back in a chair while her feet are being massaged, this is not the Carly Nagisa most are familar with. She has pale, snow-like skin, faint claws visible at the fingers. Glowing gold eyes, with hair alight with fire- she even appears to have some sort of halo. Or maybe that's from the hair? With all the warm lighting off herself, it turns the white more of a crimson at times.] Haaaaaahh...
[Still her though.] I have to say, this Duck thing is really handy for travel..~
I could easily ask for a portal I guess, but this is way faster! ...not to mention, [she mutters] ...I think the 'Carnival' got banned after last time, so explaining their new name would be...mmmm...

I promise I'll go easy on you, if I decide to cleave someone who's not paying attention.
The fight will take place tomorrow. Meet up in Upper La Noscea, we'll attune and go. Bring potions. This is an easy Primal to beat. I promise.

Koo'ri looks rather prepared, his armor polished and weapon shouldered as he's leaning on the tree next to the entrance of the camp overlooking the kobold digsite. "Hey!" He exclaimed, with a grin. "You guys ready to do this? We'll teleport in as soon as Derpy-Derp finishes softening everything up downstairs."

acmellashSo I made the mistake of googling myself. Sophocles wanted to know some of my better fights.
I know, big mistake, but I had to learn how to computer first. At least Serena showed me how to use a computer properly.
And uh...
This? Was not a memory I wanted to relive.
It was a learning experience.
One I'm willing to bury deep, deep in the hole of my memory.

duck_npcsHoshida-san is working hard on debugging the Duck, cleaning up the mess left from the problems.
But now there's the problem of cleaning up all of these long abandoned parts of the internet.
With a sigh, he leans back, and presses a button.
"All right, routing everything through the repaired Spider-verse, and... here we go."
Leaning back, Hoshida-san smiled as he adjusted the announcement window. "Good evening everyone in the Duck. As you can see, the Debug Progress has gone smoothly thanks to everyone's help. I'll spare you the details, but we've gotten the Debugging down about 32% right now."
"Please be squashing more bugs when you can, as we clean up the old spare code. Some of the old code from disused worlds have gotten onto the Duck in our absence, we call this CRAU in the circles. So, as such, we've compiled a system called the Debug Nexus."
"This system will allow you to step into emulations of your old familiar settings. While the old risks won't be there anymore, reminder that the Duck AI is very fluid, and will respond exactly as you imagine they will. As such, we'll turn you over to the conductor of the Debug Nexus."
The image changes to a friendly looking man in a literal conductors uniform with a puppet on his hand.
"Hello everyone! I'm your Conductor! As such, I'll be your guide into the Debug Nexus! We'll be opening this fully on Monday once we work the kinks out. Right, Sprocket?"
"That's right!" Exclaimed the puppet in a pitched voice. "Right now, we've got simulations for Mayfield, Galxcin, My Little Jamjar, Cosmographia, World of Pokemon and Adventures in Equestria. Remember to obey the laws of the world while you're in each world and limit your stay for a day or so while we work out the bugs."
"And remember, everything is as powerful as your IMAGINATION!" Howled the Conductor, drawling a look from Sprocket.
"That being said, I hope you have a good time when we open the Debug Nexus." And the pair cut back to Hoshida.
"For now, that's our patch notes, and I hope you keep debugging our system. Please look forward to the rest of our patch." Hoshida bowed.

Due to the ongoing chaos in the Duck, the Restaurant to Another World is opening the doors a little early this week. For Friday, Saturday and Sunday In Character, the doors will open for St. Patricks Day. For those of age, green beer will be available.
Come on in and have a pint. And the special today is Irish Stew, Lamb made Shepherd's Pie and Colcannon!
